All Dressed Up

Since we needed to get all dressed up for my nephew's wedding this weekend, we thought we should take a picture.

What in the World?!

I think I must have angered the "Powers that Be". Since June 10th, I have had Food Poisoning, Strep Throat, and now Pink Eye. Our air conditioner went out during a heat wave and my credit card number was stolen.
B. is now running a fever, no other symptoms yet. I hope it doesn't turn into anything bad.

I give. Whatever I did wrong, I apologize. Could you leave me alone now? Please?

My brother and his wife welcomed the arrival of their little girl this morning. We are all very happy and excited for them!

The Week That Was

Wow. What a week. Last weekend was DH's Aunt's Memorial. It went well, but was stressful. I suspected I was starting to get sick on Sat. On Sunday we got home and had a message from DH's doctor. He had tested positive for Strep Throat. By Monday, I was dying. I also had Strep. I've never had it before, and it was awful! Thankfully, W. never got it.

Tuesday evening, our air conditioner went out. Nice timing! It was 105, 108, and 104 for the days we went without! Good thing there is no humidity here!

Oh yeah, how could I forget, one of my credit card numbers was stolen. Luckily AMEX is great. Replaced our cards and started a fraud investigation, but what a pain.

Thursday evening DH was going to go empty the pool, and came back and said he would have to wait because there was a skunk on our deck! He's really cute, but really, who wants a skunk living that close to the house. We think he's staying under the deck. After some research, we've decided to let him be and wait for him to move on.

Saturday, DH discovers there is no ice in the ice maker. So, it remains to be seen if the ice maker is on the blink or was just 'having a moment'.
