Big Adventure Weekend

We didn't tell B where we were going Sat. When he got up, I just told him we were going on an Adventure. He was very excited. I'm not sure we'll go that route again, because even though he got up at 6:30, he wouldn't take a nap in the car, and asked about every 5 minutes where we werew going. But, once we told him we were going to Gilroy Gardens, he was very happy, and had a great time. I did better this time. :)
We spent the night in Capitola, and played on the beach in the morning. It was a beautiful day.
We stopped at my brother's on the way home, and had a nice, but short visit with them. My niece is really growing now. She looks a lot like my brother.

Everyone will be at my parent's the weekend before Thanksgiving, so I suspect we'll just do Thanksgiving then, along with everyones birthdays.

Disneyland was fun, but I'm old.

We had a good time at Disneyland. It was a perfect day, no crowds, no lines, the weather was good. We couldn't have had it better. But it was a long day, with too few breaks and it kicked my a**. My back hurt for 3 weeks! I was really beginnng to think that I had done some serious damage to it. I think I'm just getting old!

We're going to Gilroy Gardens this weekend, and I have to say, I'm a little hesitant as to how I will hold up this time. I guess that's just a price I have to pay for having a child late in life.

We will get to stop by my brother's house and see my niece again. She's really starting to grow now! It will be fun to see her again.
