First Day of Kindergarten

I think he is going to love school!
I've ignored this blog, but I'm going to see if I can get going on it again. Today is a good day to start.
First Day of Kindergarten. We both did fine. No tears. W. was a little nervous, but he did fine once he got going.
I was more nervous picking him up than dropping him off. I guess I was afraid he wouldn't have a good time. But he did, of course. They did at least some of the assessments today. He said that the teacher wasn't able to "stump him" with any of her questions, so I think he did fine. We'll know next week which class he ends up in.
I think he is going to love school!

I'm so glad you and W had a great first day of K! Gayle, I'm a complete basket case over here! We have open house tomorrow so we'll see if that makes me more calm. Seth's off and on, saying he's ready and then saying he isn't. His first day in Aug 25th and Jon starts this Monday. It's such a transition time!
SO glad your blog is coming back! :) I keep 'meaning' to log onto playland (don't scold me too hard!).
